Description

The haven, also called "La baie des milliardaires", is located south of the Pointe de la Garoupe and is closed to the west from the southern tip of Cap d'Antibes,   undoubtedly it is one of the most calm and charming parts of the coastline between Cannes and Antibes.

The bay has a wide opening on the open sea and its waters can often be the subject of wave motion, so it is advisable to give bottom only in days favorable weather conditions. In summer and on public holidays, the bay is very popular with yachtsmen for its unique beauty.

Close to the bay, there are no services or business activities. However, going west, about a quarter of an hour's walk, you can find some shop, hotel and restaurant. Fuel can also be supplied in Port Gallice, south of the port of Saint Juan Les Pins.

Those arriving in the bay, can enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the area, admiring the immense vegetation of Cap d'Antibes, which has been interrupted only occasionally by some villa.

For those coming from the mainland and wanting to get close to the bay by car, there is a private car park at one kilometer and a half away, toward northwest of the creek.

The heart of the bay until a few years ago was not accessible via land. Recently, the path of Cap d'Antibes has been completed. It is a circular itinerary in the Mediterranean scrub, that starts from the Eilen Roc villa and allows you to reach - by turning clockwise - to Antibes, passing through the Pointe de l'Îlette to west of the Anse de l'Argent Faux, admiring one of the most picturesque views of the area.

The bay also has a small beach with a concrete platform and stairs to access the sea, very quiet but known only by those who live in the area.

The beach is located on the east side of the bay, to the left of the villa Eilen Roc. From this beautiful villa owned by the municipality allows the access to the beach for people coming from the mainland. After heading south along avenue Mademoiselle Beaumont, leaving the Galets Plage (the most difficult access) to the right and crossing several stairs, you finally reach the Argent Faux beach. The beauty of the seabed, rich in vegetation and a varied fauna, makes this bay an ideal destination not only for lovers of peace but also for scuba diving enthusiasts.

The Kreek de l'Argent Faux is very close to Antibes and the Gulf of Saint Juan Les Pins, and is a great starting point for reaching all the coast destinations between Cannes and Nice.
