Description

La Conia Beach is a charming wild stretch of land that characterizes the coastline near the well-known town of Cannigione, in the municipality of Arzachena. This picturesque stretch of coast is situated in northern Sardinia, just a few kilometres away from the wonderful Costa Smeralda.

The beach offers a beautiful anchoring post and a pier to all boats sailing in Sardinia in summer in the search of wonderful places to explore.

Generally considered as a small marina, the facility is affiliated with the management body of the National Park of La Maddalena Archipelago which usually issues special permits to private boats and anyone wishing to dive in the wonderful waters of this protected area. Characterized by a crystal-blue sea and a very subtle amber-coloured sand, the area is in  fact a protected natural reserve.

Boaters who choose this beach as their holiday destination can take advantage of many tourist services, including coffee bars, restaurants and bathing establishments.

With a seabed composed of gravel sand, the beach offers boats a safe anchoring post. The surrounding landscape is quite wild, covered with a rich Mediterranean forest from which visitors can enjoy a breath-taking view over the Gulf of Arzachena.

La Conia Beach is undoubtedly a not-to-be-missed place in northern Sardinia. Well-sheltered and picturesque, it can give transiting boats a wonderful body of sea to appreciate, suitable for both tourist and bathing purposes. Another wonderful place managed by the National Park of La Maddalena Archipelago.
