Azimut 42 is able to ensure an attractive style inside a small boat. With regards to the exterior, both the roll bar and the lateral glass windows give an extremely elegant design to the yacht. The body has been fabricated by high quality resins, while topsides, inner structures, deck and superstructures have been realized in sandwich.

In the flybridge there is the dash-board with rudder made in teak; on the left, there is a double pilot seat, while on the right there is a C-shaped sofa; by adding a table you can transform the cockpit area in an open air dinette, provided also with a cabinet containing an optional fridge and an icemaker. In the aft there is also a spacious sunbathing area. Finally, in the bow the anchorage is provided with an electric winch and a wide locker for its accommodation.

In the lower deck the saloon is equipped with a cherry wooden cocktail cabinet, a further one for dishes, a closet for the stereo and a walnut wood sofa for 6 people, there is also a cherry wooden table on the right facing a further sofa for 2 people.

The galley is well equipped with a big double sink with mixer tap, fridge, microwave oven and three hobs or flames; it is provided also with a port-hole in order to guarantee air change. The sleeping area can be furnished in according to ship owner’s tastes. Therefore two versions are available: three or two cabins. In the latter case you can enjoy two private toilettes removing a cabin. The ship owner’s one is in the bow and provided with double bed and two underlying lockers, two wardrobes and a private toilette with Plexiglas stall shower, while other cabins are provided with two single beds and spacious wardrobes.

Navigation is pleasant thanks to particularly pronounced V-shaped hull ending in the stern with a 17 degrees deadrise angle. So, waves impact is also reduced and safety is ensured during maneuverability and tacking, also in case of high speed or if waves come from the stern. It is equipped with two Cummins QSB 6.7 engines which allow to reach a full speed of about 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
