Azimut Yachts Flybridge 66

New Azimut Flybridge 66, launched in Düsseldorf during International Nautical Exhibition in 2016, is a sportive-and-soft lines boat able to guarantee bigger spaces at the same time.

Azimut 66 style and design makes it an innovative yacht able to increase the available standard inside its category. Among its primacies, there are the broadest fly in its category and the electric steering gear introduced for the first time inside a big dimension boat, which can be set up in according to ship owner driving demands, rudder tiller rotations and boat speed. Besides this, taking advantage of the best naval engineering, the use of carbon to built forward sections and main deck allowed to reach bigger heights and volumes inside the yacht as well as to keep elevated levels of dynamic stability. The Raymarine on-board monitoring system, taking advantage from domotics world and accessible from the steering gears or a tablet, enables to connect the engines data to the bilge pump and alarms, while the cases exhaust levels are connected to the engines room ventilation, the audio system and air conditioning regulation. A glass, eventually darken by an electric control, can divide the galley from the living area, while lighting can be regulated as you want.

In the flybridge there are three different areas: a forward dinette, near to the steering gear that can be transformed in an area to sunbathe, the lunch area with a 8 people table on the boat center and finally the stern that can be adapted by sofa and areas to sunbathe. In the lounge there is also another area to sunbathe, an automatic opening bench in which you can add another piece of furniture with double barbecue and glass-ceramics hot plates.

With regard to the interior, in the main deck there is a big hall with wide windows and two sofas while the 55 in. TV is hidden. Finally, there is a bar area usable to have breakfast or to keep pilot company during navigation.

In the lower deck there are four cabins and three toilettes. In the main beam, there is the ship owner cabin with a private toilette. The latter is provided with wide windows without uprights; there is also a dressing table, eventually turned in a chest of drawers; you can choose curtains with darken insertions or wood venetian blinds.   

The Vip cabin is in the bow with a big space to stow goods thanks to two wardrobes and cupboards on topsides; the two other cabins are in the boat center and they enjoy a bed for each one and wide glass windows, while another cabin with two beds is available for the crew.

The interior designed by Carlo Galeazzi and inspired to the last tendencies presented at the Furniture Exhibition in Milan, is embellished also by the use of esteemed materials such as smoked effect sycamore, oak or, alternatively, light oak with ebony insertions. The dry-fill system was used for the cushions covering in order to guarantee the water drainage.

The engines available are Cat C18 (1150 HP) which allow to reach a full speed of 32 knots. The yacht is particularly maneuverable, the waves impact is soft and the keeping of sea is excellent, thanks to hull shape, 20 degree deadrise in the boat center and 17 degree one in the stern in addition to a perfect weights positioning.
