Big Boat

Boat Description

Benetti Lady Candy gives full relax, technology and elegance during navigation. Its design, particularly slender, is marked out for a five-deck structure emphasized by the contrast between dark color of main decks rounded windows and the hull light one.

The shipyard avails itself of Central Yacht team collaboration, Captain Paul Brackley and engineer Brett Mitchell.

Since the stern is considered the least suitable area to launch the tender, the usual garage was removed and replaced by a beach club completed with a bar area and wide sofas encouraging socialization; it is brightened by port-holes rather than windows in order to guarantee greater safety in a water level area characterized by waves bigger contact; you can enter to the gym located to starboard by a glass partition. Staircases, both outside and inside, enables to use this area also if weather conditions are not good.

The garage for the tender is in the astern main deck and launched by a crane. Since noises and anchor chains make the main deck the least comfortable area inside a yacht, the usual forward ship owner’s cabin has been replaced by a cinema.

Therefore, the owner’s cabin is in the astern upper deck in order to enjoy bigger privacy, while the extremely spacious and comfortable Vip cabin is located in the bow. The owner’s cabin is provided with a fireplace, a bar and an office; it is also supplied with a dressing room overlooked to a private terrace. It is brightened by wide windows and enriched by Shoji screen sliding doors composed by two glass panels with a layer of light fabric pressed within them in order to let light pass trough. So, both office and cabin can be separated to the saloon or, eventually, cabin and dressing room can be closed, while office and saloon can be opened and shared with the Vip cabin.

The galley, in the main deck, is separated to the 88-square meter dining room by a dogleg corridor which prevents noises, while frequent-access technical areas, such as lighting controls or fan coils are hidden behind easy-opening panels. Besides, all decks are connected by a central lift leading into extremely elegant lobbies giving access to different rooms.

In the astern sun deck there is a pantry provided with a dumbwaiter bringing dirty dishes directly in the upper deck galley; the barbecue is also provided with an extractor fan to eliminated smells. Finally, the sun deck superstructure is equipped with a tent to overshadow the dining table separated from the swimming pool by a glass screen. The latter can be also used for films viewing in the evenings thanks to a projector built in the superstructure. Finally, in the bow there is the steering gear with a lightly angled windscreen in order to avoid lights reflection from the dash-board.

The interior is also extremely refined by the use of light woods such as birch and oak with neutral tones and greens and yellows in carpets and glassware. Different marbles were also used for lobbies and rooms.

Lady Candy enables to offer great performances and comfort during navigation thanks to two 1.320-kW MTU 12V 4000 engines and two 175-kW Cat C9 Genset generators allowing to reach a full speed of 15,5 knots and an autonomy of 5.000 miles at 12 knots.
