Rio Yachts COLORADO 56

Launched in 2015, the Rio Yachts Colorado 56 represents the evolution of the Colorado 54 model. With a length of 18 metres, she represents the flagship of the whole Rio Yachts open boats range. Over 80% of volume is dedicated to living spaces.  

In particular, the bow hosts a sun pad while the cockpit accommodates an external dinette, equipped with an adjustable table, a sofa which can turn into an additional sun pad and a folding kitchenette with sink and stoves. The astern swimming platform is wider than the previous model's one in order to create an additional space where to accommodate a tender and a watercraft.

A crystal curved tempered door with mirror finish divides the cockpit from the wheel house of the Colorado 56. When it is not being used, the door disappears into the weather cover, giving the look and operation of true open-top boat. The wheel house features a glass sliding ceiling and many lateral windows. In the standard layout, the helm station includes a double armchair for pilot and co-pilot in addition to a multi-function touchscreen plotter. A U-shaped sofa and a table complete the arrangement of the zone.

Below deck, there are a completely equipped galley and two double cabins: one on the port side and the other on the stern.

The line shaft transmission system offers the possibility to choose between a Volvo Penta D11-725 engine, a Cummins QSM 11 -715 Zeus engine or a MAN R6 8001 one.

Many brands have collaborated with the shipyard for this ambitious project: Armani Casa Texile by Rubelli for tissues, Besenzoni for the helm station and Antonlini for marble surfaces.
