July 2015 – After months of fervent works, the moment of the launch of the last model by Amer Yachts. This prototype is a perfect symbol of the innovative spirit of the company and it represents the result of a very close collaboration between Amer Yachts, Volvo Penta, Seakeeper and Extender, at the moment the only folding tender with a vertical bow on the market.

Save the Sea is the first superyacht of the category which adopts Volvo Penta IPS engines: this revolutionary propulsive system allows to Amer 94′ to reach a double speed than a displacing boat but with the same consumptions. Moreover, it is less noisy, with low vibrations and emissions.

Nicola Paomi, leader of Marine Market Italy – Volvo Penta, used these works in explaining the way leading to the birth of Save the Sea:

Amer 94′ represents a turning point for Volvo Penta in the yacht segment. Thanks to the technical collaboration with PerMare shipyards, this 94-foot yacht is a definitive step forward to us and a constant presence in the production of big boats!”

The awaited launch is nearer and nearer: Save the Sea will be presented during the International Boat Show of Cannes, Genoa and Doha 2015.
