Description

The Old Port of Menton (Vieux Port de Menton in French) is situated at the foot of the old city, a lively zone rich of shops and restaurants. It's a small port mainly used by fishermen in the past which has been progressively enlarged and modernized over the years until it became a marina able to satisfy the needs and expectations of the most demanding yachtsmen.

The Vieux Port de Monton is well-sheltered by two inner breakwaters against all winds, except for eastern ones which often provoke undertow inside the port. When eastern winds are particularly strong, entering the port might be very hard.

While entering the port, please use caution because there's an unmarked inner breakwater on the starboard side.

Within the port basin there are 4 piers and many quays which offer 590 berths for boats up to 25 metres in length.

The marina offers a wide range of services, such as a slipway, a 2-ton crane, a garage and many technical services. Furthermore, yachtsmen will be granted ice machine, toilets and showers.

The popular beach of Monton raises just next to the marina.
