Marina Hramina – Murter Island 

The harbor located within the bay of Hramina is well protected and sheltered from the winds. Its strategic position, and its proximity to the Kornati National Park, makes it an ideal base for beach-lovers and sea-lovers and cruisers. There are 400 moorings in the water, 250 on the ground with electricity, water and satellite TV connection. Boats are secured with a mooring system. Qualified personnel continually guarantee mooring assistance day and night and there is also ongoing surveillance. The Marina offers repairs, restaurant, grocery, laundry.

Approaching remains problematic due to the numerous islets facing the bay and the low depths of the surrounding seabed. From the north-east of Slosella bay, you have to pass between the Tegina islands and Gradina. Approaching from North-West or North is possible without any risk for small-scale boats, because the depths in some points do not exceed the depth of one meter. While from west, to get into the harbor you have to pass through the islands Zminjak and Vinik Veli. In any case, it is preferable to enter the port by day.

Marina Hramina has a long experience in organizing races of all kinds, from the simplest to the most demanding ones. One example is the Kornati Cup Regatta, one of the most important Adriatic regattas, with a massive presence of sailors (the event raises over 600 presences).

The Tjiesno bridge over the Murter canal connects the island to the mainland making it accessible and offering the possibility to explore its surroundings, other cities on the mainland and the coast, and also the hinterland between Zara and Sibenik.

Murter is located northwest of Sibenik. The island is crossed by numerous paths leading to the hills of the island from which you enjoy the view of the surrounding sea. There are also some bike paths and you can practice underwater fishing and diving at authorized centers. The island's inhabitants are located in the four main towns of Murter, Tisno, Betina and Jezera.

Murter is the oldest and main inhabited place of the island. Located in the northwestern part of the island, inland on a 50 meter high saddle. To the west in the bay of Slanica lies the camping Jazina, which has a sandy beach surrounded by a pine forest. The low backwater of the sea facing the beach continues for a hundred meters covered by a fine crystal clear sand. A rocky coastline covered with pines, olive trees and figs, borders the shore.
