Lefkas Marina 

Lefkas Marina is an extra modern and well-equipped private marina built in 2002 just next to the old public port.

The marina is located just at the entrance of Lefkada Island, which is a real paradise of white-sand beaches, cliffs and unspoiled nature located west of Greece and linked to the mainland through a mobile bridge. The namesake city is located just behind the marina, so you can easily reach it by bike or foot to have shopping, lunch or just a walk inside it.

Lekada is famous for its wonderful white-sand beaches and white cliffs. That of Porto Katsiki is famous all around Europe, together with Kathisma and Egremni.

Also the islets located east of the main island deserve a visit, such as Skorpios, owned by Onassis' Family.

The beach of Gira is just few km far from the marina: 7 km of sandy beach embracing a wonderful lagoon.

You can enter Lefkas Marina both from North and South; in the latter case, you will enter a 2-mile-channel marked by some poles. Be careful at the entrance of the channel since it's very narrow and insidious, even though it's signaled by four red-and-green buoys. The maximum speed allowed is 4 knots while sailing navigation is forbidden.

From North, once you've passed the bridge linking the island to the mainland (open every hour from 7:00 to 22:00), you will sail another half a mile before getting the harbour. However, there's just only one entrance, on the southern side, near the gas station. We recommend not to leave the path marked by buoys inside the channel otherwise you really risk to get in trouble.

In the channel, depth is about 3.5 m. Only the northern side of the channel can be a little insidious since it's rich of stones.

The marina can receive 620 boats up to 45 m (40 in case of stern mooring) and with a maximum draught of 4 m; moreover, 280 places on a dry dock complete the capacity of the structure. Mooring places are located on fixed and floating piers and they're available on a daily, annual or multi-year basis (up to 20 years). Anchorage inside the marina is not allowed, except for emergencies. Please contact the marina on VHF channel 69 and reach the Port Office to check-in.

All mooring places are provided with electricity ( 220 V and 380 V) and fresh water. The marina offers a gas station at its entrance, showers, toilets, laundry, a post office, two travel lifts (150 and 70 tons), a mobile crane (60 tons), a scuba diver-technician and technical staff for any kind of repair and maintenance.

The marina also presents a hotel equipped with a swimming pool and a conference room, a shopping centre, some supermarkets, souvenir shops,restaurants, coffee bars and chandler's shops
