Description

Located in the middle of the Gulf of Tigullio,  1 km south-east of Chiavari, Porto di Lavagna is a private marina which can receive 1509 boats ranging from 8 up to 51 m. Essential services like water and electricity are included in the fees. The structure ownes 1400 berths, 140 of which are reserved for transiting boats. Inside the marina, boats mustn't drop the anchor and exceed 3 knots.

Lavagna is a Medieval coastal village extending on the left shore of river Entella and it is surrounded by several hills rich of olive trees. St. Stephen's day parade takes place on the first Sunday of August. Other intersting events are the Festival of San Leonardo a Calvi ( March), St. Stephen's Festival (August), Nut Festival (September) and St. Simon's Festival in October.

In the surroundings of the marina, you can easily find many hotels, restaurants, shops, pubs, bookshops, ship chandler's shops and brokerage offices.

Built in 70's, the marina has been recently enlarged by the new management group with new facilities and services, such as a filling station, technical assistance, electric and mechanic-hydraulic repairs at many local yards, water and electric charging columns, slipways, 7 mobile cranes, garaging areas, scuba divers, fire-fighting systems, waste collection, weather reports, toilets, showers and scuba divers.
