Description
Portofino Marina raises on a natural promontory and it extends from Portofino Bay until the little square of the village.
The only two spaces opened to boat traffic are managed by Portofino Servizi Turistici company. The first zone, close to the square of the village, can receive 6-7 superyachts up to 60 m, while the second one, located near the filling station, offers 8 berths for boats up to 18 m.
Two other berths are exclusively reserved for megayachts with a miminum length of 60 m.
The sea bottom is muddy and with a very variable depth. In the quay, draught varies from 1.4 up tp 4 m; in the port, from 0.5 up to 16 m while at the beacons, depth varies from 1 up to 1.7 m.
One among the colourful buildings surrounding the square houses the management offices and the surveillance centre, which works every day and in collaboration with the Municipal Police.
The marina provides a continuous mooring assistance. The staff is always ready to intervene on land or by rib in order to help yachtsmen and crews.
Furthermore, the marina provides its guests with toilets, showers (owned by the City Hall but run by the marina), separate waste collection on the quay, drinkable water, electricity and used oil collection service, in addition to an internet point, pay Wi-Fi throughout the whole structure, weather reports and a food&beverage delivery service (on demand).
The marina also offers a boatyard equipped with a mobile crane which can be used in the presence of the technical staff of the marina.
The village itself offers many grocery shops and restaurants.
When apporaching the marina, please pay particular attention to the intense traffic of yachts and passenger ferries in the area, especially in summer, at noon and in late afternoon.
Entrance times vary according to seasons and the mooring category. For further information, please visit the marina's website.
