Description

That of Domaso is essentially a tourist port situated in a well-sheltered area of Lake Como. The whole structure and all the surrounding area are characterized by the local breeze and calmness of this picturesque village near Lake Como.

Compared to the size of the village, the harbour is quite large and offers a good shelter for the local recreational boats. Berths are safe and under surveillance, conceived for all visitors who want to dock their boats before visiting the nice context.

The mooring system is composed by mooring ropes, floating piers and poles, all arranged in order to offer a safe and comfortable mooring place for boats ranging from 5 up to 9 m. The structure can receive about 50 boats and it also includes some cement piers, located out of the dockland and exclusively used as breakwaters.

The whole structure is under video surveillance and it is bounded by a gate exclusively reserved for the guests' access. Moreover, the port offers a boat storage shelter and 5 mooring buoys for transiting yachtsmen.

All berths are equipped with drinkable water and electric charging columns, in addition to a complete WiFi coverage. Thanks to a fruitful collaboration with Nautica Domaso, the port also offers two cranes for hauling and launch operations of boats up to 8 tons. An efficient shipyard is available for repairs and interventions on fiberglass hulls and engines.

The Port of Domaso is a structure which offers an excellent rage of services and a safe landing port for local boats. The increasingly greater success of the structure has led the city council to launch a plan concerning the construction of a larger port which could receive over 200 boats.
