Description
Located along the south-eastern shores of Lake Garda, West Garda Marina hosts 300 mooring places for boats with a length from 5 up to 14 metres.
Entrance times vary from season to season and they are different according to the day of the week.
The maximum draught allowed is 2.50 metres.
There is also a roadstead mooring area which can host up to 90 medium-large sized boats.
Mooring is possible at the dock, at a new breakwater and the floating piers built in 2005.
Each place is provided with drinkable water, electric charging columns, tv connection and the whole harbour is provided with toilets, showers, free Wi-Fi connection, a gas station and a well-equipped yard and garaging area. There, a crane can lift up to 8 tons, while a travelift has a maximum range of 15 tons.
The whole area is under surveillance at night.
The marina's team offers the following services: mooring assistance, engine maintenance, mast special interventions, mechanical, electric and hull repairing.
The marina even offers a boats selling buying and selling service.
A specific area within the harbour hosts a lounge bar, a restaurant, a jacuzzi, a solarium zone, sunbeds, locker rooms and cabins.
Many parking lots are available for all those who get here by car. Moreover, the marina offers the possibility to enjoy helicopter transfers.
In the surroundings, you can find shops, coffee bars, camping area, resorts and supermarkets.
West Garda Marina is located in the municipality of Padenghe sul Garda, in the province of Brescia, near Desenzano sul Garda- Salò main road.
The city has medieval origins and it still preserves its fortified caste (1000 A.D.)
Next to the harbour, a free beach is equipped with pic-nic tables, benches, showers, toilets, beach umbrellas, sunbeds, a kiosk, a restaurant and many shops.
Casine Beach is another gravelly beach near Padenghe.
You can reach Padenghe sul Garda by car, boat, bus (from Brescia) or train. The nearest railway station is at Desenzano sul Garda - about 6 km far from the city.
