Description

Where to dock on Lake Maggiore: ports of Piedmont

Situated in a strategic point, along the frontlake of the namesake town, the tourist port of Arona is an equipped quay and a reference point for anyone sailing on Lake Maggiore.

The municipal tourist port consists of a quay with 50 bollards for recreational boats of different sizes.

Long stops are not recommended since the area is often subject to sudden gusts and variations in the lake depth.

Moreover, in summer, undertow is a recurring phenomenon.

The port offers no electricity, toilets, bilge waters collection.
Yachtsmen can easily enter and dock in the port thanks to its wide spaces.
