Situated in the southern part of the island, the marina is protected by a south-eastern outer dock and a south-eastern inner breakwater. The facility is entirely managed by the City Council of La Maddalena.

The port of Cala Gavetta offers 140 berths spread on floating jetties. More specifically,

  • Inner berths for boats from 5 to 30 metres in length;
  • External berths for boats from 15 to 30 metres;
  • 20 buoys situated in front of the inner breakwater, reserved for boats up to 50 metres in lenght and with a maximum draft of 7 metres.

The port of Cala Gavetta offers many yachting services, such as: water, electricity, toilets and showers, Wi-Fi, haulage and launch services, scuba divers, waste collection,  a filling  station (open from 08:00 to 19:00). The marina is the ideal starting point to visit both La Maddalena and Caprera Island and is very crowded in summer.
