Winter sea storms often cause sandbanks near the inner breakwater. When entering the port, it is highly recommended to stay on the right side and keep distance from the red lantern positioned at the top of the breakwater. -

Description
Founded about 20 years ago, Diporto Nautico Sanvitese is an important reference point for all yachstmen who desire to moor inside the port of San Vito Lo Capo, a place become popular for the incredible beauty of its sea and beaches. The port consists of a 430-metre outer dock, a 180-metre inner breakwater and an 100-metre inner dock. The port can host 400 boats up to 40 metres in length. The seabed is sandy with seaweeds and ranges from 2 to 8 metres. Diporto Nautico Sanvitese offers a wide range of yachting services, such as: haulage services with crane, winterizing service (for small boats), illuminated quays, drinkable water and electric charging colums at every berth, boat rental, two diving centres (one of which is equipped with its own jetty), diving equipment rental and a filling station. The latter is situated at the outer dock and is open everyday from 8:00 to 20:00. Moreover, yachstmen can benefit from toilets and showers, all equipped with pay hot water, weather forecast, Wi-Fi. In the surroundings, visitors can easily find many bars, restaurants, cigarette shops, kiosks and supermarkets. There are also a bank, a drugstore, many hotels, a car rental station and a laundry. The port is well-linked with Sicilian airports and the mainy tourist attractions of the region thanks to efficient shuttle services.
