Description

The Club Nàutic S 'Estanyol is located within the area of the Reserva Marina de Es Migjorn, in the south of the island of Mallorca. It is about 20 minutes from the island's main airport and 40 kilometers from the main town of Palma de Mallorca.

The port was born in the 70s and offers 268 places for mooring (some of which are reserved for passing boaters) for vessels with a draft not exceeding 3.5 meters (depth of the entrance of the port). Each station of berth is equipped with a column with power socket and access to drinking water.

Inside the port area there is also a refueling point, as well as a repair workshop for boats. The harbor also offers a crane that can lift boats of a total weight not exceeding 12.5 tons and some rafts for launching boats.

Club’s guests can take advantage of the toilet, showers, Wi-Fi connection, a cafeteria and restaurant within the area. About 100 meters from the nautical club, you can also find a supermarket and other commercial activities.

The club also has a separate garbage collection area, a play area for children, and parking for those arriving from the ground. Inside the port area, there are also a number of charter boats and charter companies that offer the possibility of traveling to the nearby islands.

Club Nàutic S'Estanyol is also a nautical club that offers sailing and windsurf courses for children and adults  all levels, as well as the possibility of surfing the surroundings in kayak or with organized sail trips by boat sailing and stand-up paddle.

In addition, the nautical yard also organizes fishing courses (base, advanced and high), following the responsible fishing rules (and the prohibitions imposed by the rules of the Marina El Migjorn Reserve) and organizing events and competitions. The club is located in the village of S'Estanyol El Migjorn, along a quiet stretch of coastline that offers a variety of light sandy coves.

For those who want to explore the surroundings of the port area, it is interesting to visit the S'Estelella area, with its tower and the ancient fishing village. The  Cap Blanc hamlet, with the lighthouse and the tower where to enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the neighboring island of Cabrera (an integral part of the archipelago national park).

S'Estanyol El Migjorn is the border between the Campos and Llucmajor areas, where there are some of the most beautiful beaches of the island, of different dimensions, and covered by sand, rock or gravel.

Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands. The northern part of the island is the most mountainous, with rocky shores - and it is worth to pay a visit at the Gothic Royal Valdemossa Chartreuse.

Lovers of hiking and excursions on the island can take advantage to visit the S'Albufereta Nature Reserve, famous for its incredible biodiversity (with nearly 200 different bird species) and to go in the area of Puig Major -the highest mountain of the island, to the discovery of its lakes.

Deciding to move to Palma de Mallorca, you can visit the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art, where you can visit works by Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso.

Palma de Majorca is the focal points of the evening entertainment. It is located in the western part of the island, nearby Magaluf (which has a very youthful target). On the waterfront of Palma, you can find all kinds of activities, as restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

To move from Club Nàutic S'Estanyol to discover Mallorca you may decide to hire a car, but it is good to know that the road transport service is efficient and economical.
